Mining at Coober Pedy/Birthday

Everybody run! Boys with big TOYS! He wanted a shot with it down the back of his jeans but I said "I don't think so".
We did a tour of an active opal mine which was fascinating. We then went shopping for my birthday present. As you do in Rome... I have now a new opal ring.
Thanks everyone one for my birthday wishes. We are now off to a Greek restaurant for dinner (can you believe there is Greek in Coober Pedy)! xxoo

    Hi Anne, please forgive me, I forgot your birthday, as well as Noelle, must be that age thing!!!!So pleased you got an opal ring(my birth stone)I here on the radio, that the rain came down in buckets in Coober Pedy, & the roads were very muddy, hope this didn't impede your progress.Much love Heather
